This coming Sunday, October 25th, is Family Worship Sunday. We will celebrate the Lord’s Supper at the end of our morning Worship Service. There will be no Children’s Church and staffed nursery. The Infant/Toddler Room at the back of the auditorium is available, as well as our Nursery Room.

 

There will be a Missions Team meeting after morning worship in the Great Room. Lunch will be provided for team members and their spouse.

It is not too late to join one of our Bible Life Classes. All classes meet at 9:00 am. Pick one and attend this coming Sunday:

​Ladies’ Class – ‘Respectable Sins’
Ken Oakley - “How to Hear the Voice of God” and “The Beauty of Forgiveness.”
Ron Stradinger - first eleven chapters of Genesis.
Bob Thyren – Jude
Bruce Wanless - the Second Coming of Christ.

Ladies ~ Baby Shower for Courtney Johnson 

​On Saturday, October 31st from 2:00-4:00 pm, there will be a baby shower for Courtney Johnson in our Great Room. Along with your gift for their baby girl, please bring a gift for big brother Anax (3 years old)! Hope to see you there.

Sunday, November 1st, will be a great Sunday…

We will have a special time of worship, and along with our usual time of singing and preaching, we will have a baby dedication! The Peterson family will be bringing Natalie before the church to dedicate her to the Lord. This will be a memorable time for this family and for us as a church family. Come and encourage this dear family as they take this step of dedicating Natalie to the Lord. Any family who would like to dedicate their children during a worship service - feel free to call Alice in the church office and we will set up a church service to do so.

 

And…
We will have our churchwide Fellowship Meal following the morning Worship Service. Jeff Slathar and Ron Stradinger will prepare the main dish and baked potatoes. Our main dish will be ‘ribs’! We ask you bring a side dish and salad or dessert. A special request from the kitchen crew – please bring your hot dishes ready to serve or in a crock pot. Oven space is needed to keep the dishes warm. Thank you for your consideration in this matter.

Remember ~ Sunday, November 1st ~ Daylight Saving Time ends as we ‘fall’ back one hour ~.

In preparation for an updated Christ Church Directory, Gary & Dawn Wahl will be available to take your picture.

 

And…
We will have our Evening Worship Service at 6:30.
Operation Christmas Child is underway! Shoeboxes and information are located at the back of the auditorium. Help yourself to as many boxes as you like and bring them back to Christ Church on or before Sunday, November 15th . The shoeboxes will then be delivered to the appropriate Rapid City location.

An Opportunity

It has been brought to our attention that someone is in need of the following items: under cabinet storage organizer - Lysol cleaning spray & wipes - cleaning cloths – Windex - kitchen hand towels - dish soap - Febreze spray - a trash can & trash bags - toilet bowl cleaner. Any items you wish to donate can be left at the church office.

Sunday, November 15th ~ Cindy and I will be on vacation. In my absence Wayne Titus will bring both the morning and evening messages.
