These past weeks we have been receiving the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering which will go to Mission Dignity. Our Christ Church goal was set at $3,500 and we received $4,397. Thank you for your generosity.

There is a medical need in our church family. Ask at the church office for more information.

Dates to keep in mind:

• Sunday, May 3rd, the James Family of Agape Technical Support, will be with us for Mission Moments at our church fellowship meal. We will hear about their ministry and receive a love offering. There is a display at the back of the church auditorium that highlights the James Family and mentions some of the needs they presently have. Let us continue to pray for them as they minister.

• Monday, May 4th at 7:00 PM, ‘The Craguns’ will present a gospel concert in our church auditorium. There are invitation cards available for you to give to family, friends, and neighbors. Admission is free and a freewill offering for the group will be received that evening.

• Sunday, May 10th is Mother’s Day. Our Evening Worship Service will be dismissed.

• Sunday, May 24th we will have a Special Memorial Weekend Worship Honoring Blanket Ceremony.

• Monday, May 25th is Memorial Day. The church office will be closed.

• Sunday, May 31st will be Black Hills Worship Night.

• Sunday, June 7th through Thursday, June 11th we will have our summer VBS here at Christ Church! The children will be experiencing ‘an Irish Adventure Through Psalm 23’! At this time, we are in need of 2 volunteers to teach and help with grades 3 & 4 as well as other areas. There is a sign-up sheet at the back of the auditorium which lists the various ways you can volunteer. Come and be a part of this wonderful ministry to children!!

Opportunities to keep in mind:

• We are looking for volunteers to put away food items and make sure the Fellowship Hall tables are wiped clean and the floor swept after our morning Worship Service. This would be on a rotation basis. Please notify Alice in the church office if you would like to take advantage of this opportunity or with any questions you may have.

• Christ Church Library: We are in the process of getting our church library organized and ready for use. We now know that we have space for additional books, especially children’s books. Feel free to drop your books off at the church office.

•  Saturday, May 9th, the Black Hills Pregnancy Center will be sponsoring a fundraising event called “Walk for Life 2026”. The Pregnancy Center’s website has detailed information about this event. There will also be a poster on our church bulletin board.  Feel free to give Lisa Belcher a call at 605-484-1260 with any questions you may have.
